Last car show in Salina – Utah

Each year, the last Saturday of July the “not to miss event” is the Blast from the Past Car Show in Salina, Utah! We had a good time a the 19th Annual car show. Perfect weather, lots of uniques cars, oldies from classic cars, to hot rods, trucks, custom rebuilds. Cars enthousiasts from all Utah and other States around were at this annual rendezvous. Food trucks, vendors, music and lot of people! Couldn’t ask for more!

On Friday, you can assist to the Night Cruise where you can see all the car parade. Hearing the roar of these engines adds a touch to the parade which is the opening of the long-awaited weekend.
Saturday is THE day! This is the day from 10am to 3pm, where you can see hundreds of vehicles, perfectly cleaned and shined.
We are owning a Jeep Willis, and it was cool for us to see the older versions of our Jeep and make comparison. As you can see, Ben was happy to see an old Willis on site.
Some people take the opportunity to put their precious vehicle on sale. So if you are looking fot this kind of vehicle, as it was in the past, this is the ideal place to offer you this gift.
Also note that food is available on site and it is affordable and delicious!
As you can see, even if some vehicle have not been restored, they still decided to expose them and give them a little touch of yesterday with a fun twist !
This skeleton was a wink to our first RV mentor, Phil and Stacy from You Me and the RV. We always wanted to find a skeleton and create Skully’s girl friend! lol

5th Annual Pin Up Contest
The added touch to this amazing day was to 10 lovely ladies, all dressed up Pin Up style! The hair! The dress! The lipstick! Including accessories like old fashion glasses and shoes!
We were also lucky to find 2 men, dressed up like the old days, who kindly agreed to embark on the adventure and take pictures with the ladies.
So will you participate to the 6th Annual Pin Up Contest next year???
